*This trip  was made 15days after the terrrorist attacked in Sultanahmet Square  on 16 January 2016. Yesterday terrorists attacked in Taksim Square …This post is dedicated to all the victims of terrorism.

I was planning to write lots of words about Istanbul but i decided the photos to speak..Before starting the photo tour i would like to confess that Istanbul or Costantinoupoli is a amazing city, is the city of contrasts.Istanbul is incessantly in balance between East and West, old ages and modernity.

Pay a visit in Basilica Cistern. If you dont suffer of  claustrophobia, the Basilica Cistern is the largest of several hundred ancient cisterns that lie beneath the city of Istanbul.

Except of the great architectural beauty Hagia Sophia is an important monumet both for Byzantine and for the Ottoman Empires.Once a christian church, later a mosque and now a museum, Hagia Sophia has always been the precious of its time.
